Also known as Saenz.
Micaela married
second 4 May 1809 at Mission Santa Clara to
Jose Francisco Marcos Seville,
viudo.
According to Vol. II, pp. 302-303:
Juan Segundo Valenzuela
was born about 1751 at Alamos, Sonora, Mexico of
Ramon Valenzuela and
Maria Antonia Aguilar.
He married
Maria Ana Augustina Alcantara
[born about 1754 at Alamos; parents
Alcantara and
Salazar; buried 7
October 1831 at Los Angeles Plaza Church] 15 February 1773 at Alamos. They had
9 children between about 1771 and 1791. The first three were born at Alamos;

Eulalia Perez de Guillen
and
Michael Claringbud White

Miguel Blanco. He
(Michael)
married one of her daughters, I believe her first name was
Maria. Together
they had thirteen children and I have been trying to find other descendants of
both. Are any of you out there? [Celeste Valverde (nonmember), Chula Vista,

Pregunta 403 - 19 January 2007
Looking for further information on the parents of
Henry August Niebla born
17 August 1881 (in Calif.), died 21 February 1957 (in Santa Clara, Calif.). His mother is listed on his death
certificate as
Vicenta Sanchez born in California. We are hoping this is our
Vicenta Sanchez, daughter of Don
José María Sánchez and
Doña
Encarnación Ortega. We
have traced
María Verónica Vicenta Sánchez through her marriages to
Dan
Willson (6 children),
David Allen Hildebrand (no known children), and
Ancil J.
Hendricks (4 known children). Our quest to learn what happened to
Vicenta
after she left
Dan Willson
started over 40 years ago. Any information will be most appreciated.
Henry Niebla
married
Theresa Maria Morales
about 1913 and had children:
Alfred Henry (born
1914, died 1981),
Clarice G. (born
1915, died 1984, married a Bryant),
Irvin Vincent (born 1918, died 1987),
Robert Victor
(born 1921, died 1968), and
Evelynn or
Evaline Marie (born 1925), and probably
Richard (born
1933). All of these children were born and died in the Santa Clara and
Monterey areas. In 1918
Henry August lived
in Gilroy with an address of Pacheco Pass. We would be so happy to hear from
any descendants of Henry Niebla to learn what they know of Henry's mother and
father. [Benita Gray & Pam Parsons (members), San Diego, Calif.]

Pregunta 401 - 17 December 2006
Is the
Josef Vincente Feliz
of Sonora the correct lineage when researching the Feliz family of Pozo,
California? Note: Northrop has
middle name as
Vicente.
Specifically, what is the relationship to
Joaquin Vincente Feliz?
(He is the father of
Joaquin S. Feliz).
Or should I be looking for a
Feliz that came
later?
Vincente, as he
was known, never spoke of his family, but married
Florinda Garcia,
daughter of
Jose Antonio Inocencio Garcia and
Maria Bruna Call Garcia,
both descendants of
Felipe Santiago Garcia
from Sinaloa? Thank you, [Tracy Akers (not yet member), Durango, Colorado]
