La Tejedora Pregunta 452 - 11 July 2007Does anyone have any information on Pasqual Baylon Botiller? I have been searching for years and can't seem to get beyond him being married to Feliciana Carlon. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you. [Jeri Nixon (member), Kamiah, Idaho] Respuesta a Pregunta 452 - 20 February 2008Pasqual Baylon Botiler and Feliciana Carlon: I have much information on both of these people. If anyone would like to have it emailed please contact me at reyest@lanecc.edu. Remember anything you get from anyone always needs documentation. Everything I have is an on-going research project. [Tina Reyes (relative of member), Eugene, Ore.] Respuesta a Pregunta - 6 September 2007According to Dorothy Gittinger Mutnick, Some Alta California Pioneers
and Descendants, (Contra Costa County Historical Society, 1700 Oak Park
Blvd, Room C-5, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523), Div One, Vol. I, Entry #294,
Pasqual Baylon Botiller
was the fourth child of
Joaquin Botiller
and
Tadea Lorenzana.
The marriage record abstracted by Thomas Workman Temple II for Pascual Botiller and Felicana Carlon is as follows: Thomas Workman Temple II, Mission Record Abstracts by Thomas Workman Temple II, Re-typed by Los Californianos, Santa Barbara Mats, #196 [entry number in error], Apr 27 [1836]- PASCUAL BOTILLER, h.l. de Joaquin Dionicio Botiller y de Tadea Lorenzana, with FELICIANA CARLON, with Luis Burton y Dolores Ortega, wits. Duran …however…the original document is #208, not #196. The parents of Pascual are not listed in the original entry and it is signed by Fr Antonio Jimeno and not Fr Duran. Source: Microfilmed image: Register of Marriages, THE PRESIDIAL CHURCH OF SANTA BARBARA ALTA CALIFORNIA 1786-1885; Recording the Marriages of the Families of the Military, the Civil Officials and other “Gente de Razon”. Hope this helps! [Sheila Ruiz Harrell (member), Modesto, Calif.] Pregunta 451 - 11 July 2007
I am a descendant of
Eulalia Perez de Guillen Marine
through her daughter
Rita (married to
Jose Vicente
de la Ossa). Can you help me connect with other
descendants? Do you have genealogies online (or otherwise)? I have much to
add there. Is there a directory of "members" so that we may contact each
other?
FYI, I have written a Wikipedia article about Eulalia: Also, I am working with the docents of Los Encinos for the opening of the family adobe coming up this month.
